RNLI St Justinian's RNLI RNLI

NGR SM 720 250

A small funicular able to carry 250kg, up and down the steep cliff to St Davids RNLI station at St Justinian's It is used to carry equipment and casualties to and from the lifeboat station.

Opened in 1935, and this was much longer than the current lift, as the slipway was much lower at that time. It was rebuilt with the New station in 1994, and at that time shortened.

Many Thanks to the brave men and women of the RNLI for their help with this site
