Llanfoist Wharf

A series of three inclines working with full waggons pulling up empty ones on their descent connected by a chain. The inclines moved coal between Garndddyrys and the Brecon and Monmouthshire Canal.

Remnents of the inclines can still be found particularly at the lower section by Llanfoist Wharf, where several inclines were located. The Dyne Steel inclines route can also still be traced.
