This is a small figure 21' 3" square of a tea pot and tea cup to symbolise the service station. The figure is constructed of small quartz stones and is in very poor condition.
The figure was constructed in 1992 by Mrs Aileen Jones, the gardener at the service station. Its purpose was to enhance the entry into the National Tea Council competition - The Motorways Best Cup of Tea. The tea pot was left in place after this was maintained regularly until this year when the quartz was removed, its outline can still be seen.
No map is necessary, just enter Port Abraham Services which is at the very west end of the M4 (J49) past Llanelli and what is left of it is to the right of the entrance to the building, and left of the steps up the grass bank.
