Situated 1/2 mile from Llanwrst town centre.
Cae Groes consists of a converted farmhouse, a purpose built self-contained accommodation block (4 self contained family units for 6), a barn with table tennis table and dart board, a drying room and shower/toilet block. There is a grassed garden and adequate space for car parking. We are staying in the farmhouse which is centrally heated with a lounge, dining room and kitchen. The centre runs on a self catering basis. Cooking is by electricity and all crockery and cooking utensils are provided.
A coin operated phone is installed in the house (01492 640751). Other Barclays staff will probably be there as well (ie we will have to keep the noise down after 11pm).
SHOT Christmas Dinner
Date - Weekend Friday 11th - 13th December.
Venue - Paris (France)
Cost - £24 per person based on 4 per car. Includes 1 nights accomodation and ferry crossing.(Xmas dinner, fuel, personal and car insurance not included).
If this rather unusual location for the Christmas dinner appeals, please contact me ASAP so I can start booking it up. It's a special offer, so we need to start booking it up quite quickly.
The plan will be along the following lines. Meet at my house duing the Friday evening, then head off very early Saturday morning to hopefully arrive in Paris early afternoon. Head back to England sometime Sunday.
What else? Well if anyone fancies staying a bit longer, I think each extra night is something like £15-£20. Also for the affluent, you can get there the easy way by EuroStar for £65 more (i.e. £89 for the weekend). If you want to stay the extra night, you'll need 3 other people to do this ( or you can go by Eurostar ).
